About

Diego Rivera (Costa Rica) is a professional salsa dancer with over 10 years of experience. He’s already won 11 world titles in renowned competitions like Euroson Latino, the World Salsa Summit, and the Las Vegas Ultimate Latin Dance Championship. Originally from Costa Rica, he now lives in New York City. In 2024, he co-founded D&Y Salsa Academy with Yaritza in Manhattan, where they continue to share theirpassion for dance. Every weekend, they travel the world, teaching at salsa festivals and spreading the love for salsa.

Yaritza Arboleda (Peru) began dancing at the age of 10, starting with ballet and urban dance. At 13, she discovered salsa and began learning and competing in various other styles, including contemporary, urban, Afro-Peruvian, gymnastics, and ballroom. She’s had the opportunity to compete in multiple competitions and appear on TV shows throughout her journey. She was also trained & worked as a professional ballroom teacher for 4+ years. In 2024, she co-founded D&Y Salsa Academy with Diego in Manhattan, New York, where they share their love for dance.

*Single day workshop passes will be available after 3/1/2025 if there is space
